YOUTH THEATRE - SENIORGo Back Enrol Now

Program: YOUTH THEATRE
Program Group: SENIOR View Synopsis

SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

The race to Dragon Island and the Treasure of Oriental Cove continues in the play, "Dragon Island". After months on the high seas, Captain Black Bart and his crew on The Raven, and Captain Bonny and her crew on the Silver Shadow finally reach land. However, all is not as the nefarious Corsair, Lord Henry Morgan, has predicted. This sleepy island hides unforeseen dangers. What happens when the brave pirates encounter fire-breathing dragons, and who are the infamous Tai Bros? Does “The Kraken” really exist?
