YOUTH THEATRE - SENIORGo Back Enrol Now

Program: YOUTH THEATRE
Program Group: SENIOR View Synopsis

SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

High in the Wizard's Tower, Pip, Wizard Wimple's apprentice, is desperately trying to prepare for his Wizard exams, but nothing is going right, that is until he conjures up a young dragon called Filbert! Could Pip finally have got something right, or could this be the strange creature that has been upsetting King Henry, Queen Julianna, and their townsfolk? King Henry orders Captain Hotspur and his faithful guards, Pad & Lock, to find an answer to these "mysterious" happenings", but what happens when they encounter Princess D'Hara, the Blue Knight, and the dragon riders, and what are Raven and her mischievous gypsies really up to?
