SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

If you love anything “Bollywood” and the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”, you will love this new song & dance extravaganza created by Paul Percy. Join Katie, Alice and their school friends as they prepare to leave Kalkota railway station to do a dance presentation for the British Consulate in Mumbai in two days time. However, nothing ever goes quite according to plan when school trips are involved, as their Chaperone, Miss Sangita, soon finds out. What mischief do Paige and Georgie get up to when the pupils get separated and end up in Allahabad? Join “Bollywood Express” for misadventure, high jinks, fun dance routines, great songs and fantastic costumes!
